Well, I'm getting the tennis in HD (OTA), but there's no commentator's
sound (not that muting John McEnroe is a totally bad thing).

Anyone else having this problem?

It's 2:19 PM in NYC area - and I see no problems.
My Sanyo says the audio is in Dolby Digital

Hmm... Must be my local CBS station's fault then, as it's not right,
whether I use DD to my surround receiver, or just use the analog
outputs from my HDTV receiver. The match sounds (striking ball, etc)
work, as do the voices from the commentator's in the outside courts.
However, the "main" commentators (McEnroe, et al) are not heard at
all! Weird.

Same thing here(CBS channel 4 from the Twin Cities) all the sounds in
the stadium, but no commentator's sound.

CBS did this last year for almost a full half of SEC football. Someone forgot
to activate the center channel, which carried the announcers. It was great
because their SEC announcers suck. And the stadium announcer, who you could
hear in the background, told you everything you needed to know without all the
extra BS.

In article , John Nistler says...

That was exactly it. I called the station and it was fixed shortly
thereafter.
