Nobody chimed in for this one yet.
How about some kind of safe bolted through a wall with small holes in it
for the wires and a slightly bigger one for the remote?
Alternately, put it up too high to touch, and spray it with conductive
paint, Put 20000 volts on the paint and put a danger high voltage sign on it?

In the prisons we sometimes use small ventilated makrolon enclosures.

The money.

any ideas how to prevent theft?

It says a lot about your workmates.

I can tell you workplace theft is very common. At one place they take
their exhausted AA cells into work and swap them for the good ones in
our remotes.

That's not quite in the same league as walking off with a Freeview box,
though.

Overnight? Or do you envisage that a canteen user might steal it during
the working day? (Which would be rather a sad comment on the workforce.)

it is sad but true. especialy as DSO is a new thing and thee are lot of
people that ' could do with an extra box'

How do you stop them stealing the TV?

It is a polaroid.

Is this bit significant?

Does it "pop out" printed TV pictures for example?

Or perhaps it has different pictures depending upon what glasses you have on

tim

for the sake of completeness .
