I'm sick of the olympics already and they haven't even started.

When will they get the message that the vast majority of the public don't
give a toss about a bunch fitness fanatics running about the place and
throwing things?

The motorway gantries on the M1 in S Yorks warn of traffic problems due
to the Olympics.

That was due to the test of the torch relay yesterday from
Leicester-Loughborough-Peterborough.

The ones on the M25 say (something like)

"Plan your (Olympic) Journey
and arrive on time"

how does that work then?

If (for example) it normally takes 2 hours to drive from wherever to
Stratford, my "planning" on allowing 2 hours doesn't mean that it will take
that on the day, does it?

Oh! That makes more sense. Did you see '2012'. Hilarious!

It's meaningless drivel, perhaps the BBC's presentation dept have had
something to do with them ? I saw them on the M27 at Chilworth yesterday.
(The signs, not the BBC Pres Dept)

I'm not sure what a disaster movie has to do with anything, but I've heard it was hilariously bad, yes.

Was it not this that Bill was referring to ?:-

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00yw1t9

(Which is superbly funny)

Yes, that's it. I didn't know there was a film called 2012. The TV
programme is hilarious for me, so I should imagine anyone who has to
work in that sort of bollock-talking place it must be positively side
splitting. Or would they not see the joke?
