We watched Big Ben and the fireworks at a friend's place on an ancient CRT
set fed from a FreeView box. The lip sync on the presenter was miles out at times. I also think the chimes got lost under the fireworks at one point? I couldn't hear the TV clearly due to noise in the room - but sound wise it seemed a bit scruffy. But that could have been down to the listening conditions where I was. -- *I must always remember that I'm unique, just like everyone else. * Dave Plowman London SW To e-mail, change noise into sound. |

No, the sound - especially the chimes - was crap. Alos, why do they have to keep cutting to different views of the firework display and to views of the crowd? Just one static shot straight across the river would have been perfectly adequate and much more enjoyable. I think they call it creativity or summat. -- Woody harrogate three at ntlworld dot com |

One reason was to show the couple that had just got engaged live on air. Human interest I think it's called. |
