Ben is an interesting baby. He looks round all the time and seems to
be taking everything in. He can't walk yet but he loves to play chase,
with him crawling at an incredible speed while I chase him. The other
day he was being pushed between the aisles of a rather cramped
minimart. He put out both arms and swept bottles and cans off the
shelves, then laughed like mad at the chaos. This morning when he woke
up (very early) he seemed a bit distressed, probably because mum
wasn't there, so I scooped him up and put him next to me in bed and we
had a nice cuddle. This seemed to work well and he became very placid
and playful. I wish I'd examined him a bit more closely though because
he'd had diarrhea and his nappy had leaked. It was all down his legs
and half way up his back. So I had to bath him (by gum, it was stuck
to his legs like superglue) and bath me, and change my bed, and change
his cot. At that point his mum texted to ask if he was OK. I don't
know what the washing machine thought. I don't know what the diarrhea
was all about either. He's been fine all day, no temperature or
anything, and very lively. Maybe it was a one off.

Bill

Maybe he'd been eating Micro$oft again.
