At the expense of preventing EVERY existing Freeview STB and IDTV (except
those brand new ones with a DVB-T2 chipset) from watching anything at
all ever again!

I knew that but....... I never said it was practical.

but knowing Freeview and the habit of rendering boxes obsolete. I would not
recon it will never happen. Time will tell. as HD becomes normal it may
just happen one day. and hardly anyone would notice.

Hi Alex.
I know you`ve gone over to motorbikes but just wondering if you still
bother with
scoots??
Regards.
Lee.

I've actually swapped back to scooters again.
I bought a Vespa GTS300 in January and sold the bike.
Alex

All the stability of a shopping trolley, and brake's as well as one.
You can't value your life much?

Hehehe , no stability issues on the larger modern Vespas - 12" wheels and a
decent wheelbase makes them feel pretty well planted and the disk brakes do
the job ok.
They really are very good fun.

So's a shopping trolley, but you won't catch me taking one on the roads.

12" is better but still isn't big enough for any useful stability.

It`s a great equaliser in traffic, economical and, as Alex said "They really
are
very good fun."

Stability is better achieved when most of the weight is below axle centres.

Regards.

Lee.

I've had small bikes and the times i've needed power to pull away from
4 wheeled idiots and not had it, I'm amazed i'm still alive.

300cc with a CVT is surprisingly nippy. Obviously it's nowhere near as quick
as a midsized motorbike but it doesn't feel sluggish at all.
You'd be welcome to have a go if you ever pass by my bit of the west mids -
you might even like it ;0)

I've tried scooters thanks i used to have a tuned Lambretta GT200,
and similar power wise to your scooter I've had a Honda CB250RS.

Loads of times (especial after chucking out time) i've had ****s in hot
hatches
tailgate me that i couldn't get way from.

I now have a Z750 and i wouldn't want and wouldn't recommend anything
smaller
