And they completely messed up the EPG. Just before the special programme
ended the freeview EPG was showing 19:00-20:50 News Special, 20:30-21:00
Holby, 20:50-21:20 Eastenders, 21:00-22:00 Luther.

BBC3 EPG is still showing Eastenders at 22:00-22:30 as usual despite the
episode on BBC1 being postponed until tomorrow. So, I wonder if it will
be a case of BBC3 viewers seeing it first or whether there will be a
changed of schedule 'at the last minute'

Yes, despite being very keen to upset normal scheduling for any old
excuse, the BBC seem almost totally unable to update the EPG to cope.

Whatever happened to the theory that digital tv systems would improve this!

Wouldn't have happened in my day....

Because the BBC is controlled and managed by Grauniad readers -
i.e. bearded lefties who think they know best.

Nah they are all right wing Lib Dem supporters nowadays.

Yes, it's going to be interesting to see what political line the Guardian is
going to adopt from now on, especially since they openly backed the Lib Dems
before the coalition.

I hope Cameron has the strength to bring them to heel.

You are going to be disappointed.

I don't think the Guardian changed it's policies or
views - just the party it backed.

They're a bunch of left-ish liberals, always
have been.

Almost totally unable? Why almost? I've never seen it work properly.
Anyway, isn't all that down to Red Bumbling since they flogged off
Broadcast?

Like it improves picture quality?

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember "Woody"
saying something like:

Christ, you don't half post some rubbish.

The bit that got me was sometime after Brown had left No,10, the
reporter said,

'Something may be about to happen - the microphone has been changed'.

What is the difference between a Labour mike and a Tory mike ?

Labour ones catch unguarded remarks in cars.

It seems to me that the LDs are damned if they do and damned if they

The outcome reminds me of the old travelling circus sideshow of "The Lion
layeth down with the Lamb". That had a lion and a lamb apparently
co-existing peacefully in a cage. Flocks of people doubtless paid money to
see such a remarkable sight... and the money was useful to ensure that a
good supply of fresh lambs were available. 8-]

Alas, I suspect that in this case they'll run out of lambs - or the lambs
will make a run for it. Wonder how many will survive...

Slainte,

Jim

Cameron's friends have already been teaching him how to destroy the BBC.
