Another stupid ignorant decision by a bunch of brain dead morons.

The whole idea of 6 Music was to provide a service to the millions of BBC
licence fee payers who want to listen to rock and indie music which is
played nowhere else? Now where are they going to listen to it? And if this
means moving it to Radio 1, why should Radio 1 listeners who can't stand it
have it inflicted on them?

Don't these morons understand the meaning of PUBLIC SERVICE REMIT?

Instead they want to get rid of a public service and just cater only for the
majority which is what the independent sector is for.

Why don't the BBC cut the ridiculous salaries to presenters like Jonathan
Ross and Graham Norton whose programmes nobody watches, instead. How come
Matt Smith is only getting paid 350,000 for staring in Doctor Who, which
gets an average of 8 million viewers per week, when Ross struggles to get 4
million on a good week and averages 2 million, and the same goes for Graham
Norton, who a getting paid 6 million and 2.5 million a year respectively.
For what reason? Fewer people watch their shows than listen to 6 Music or
watch Doctor Who. Nobody working for the BBC should be getting paid more
than the Prime Minister (£200,000) and that includes actors, presenters and
even the DG.

Why don't the BBC merge Radio 4 and 5 Live together instead? Both of them do
exactly the same thing, except Radio 4 is directed at toffs and Radio 5 is
for ordinary people.

And why aren't the BBC's Asian listeners entitled to have the tax money they
pay to the BBC spent on an Asia music service for them? Do you hear Asian
music on Radio 1 or Radio 2? If you go to Europe you hear English music and
music in all other languages everywhere.

I think you mean hundreds, not millions.

Radio 4 listeners don't seem to be interested in sport of any kind.

That depends on your perspective. Your 'toff' seems to be my 'ordinary
person'. I don't know what that makes you.

Not even all the cricket that is broadcast on Radio 4 Long Wave?

Be interesting to know what percentage of the 'normal' R4 audience listen
to that. There used to be a general sports prog on once a week - but that
got the chop.
