Default Power line adaptors

In article , Brian Gaff
scribeth thus
They are using a system that works on mobile phone technology, which gives
them a combined text display and sat nav so the office knows where they are
etc.

Yes.. a lot of them don't seem to like too many people knowing where
they are for some odd reason..

We know of a plumbing firm who had a problem with their staff doing one
too many jobs on the side. So they thought they'd fix that and in due
course a tracking system was installed. After a while with bits of
silver paper etc stuck by "accident" on the GPS units they were taken
out!.

Reason?, seems that they had a real job finding good plumbers and rather
than have them leave and sod off elsewhere to the competition where they
weren't tracked, they came to a point where they accepted that some "on
the side" work was a lesser evil than to loose capable staff;!.....

There used to be a big problem in London with unlicensed taxi's listening in
and gong and taking the customer before the taxi they ordered got there.

Yup, you can't win at this game I understand that BT are now fitting a

I'd imagine if there were too many around they'd interfere with one
another if they are broadcasting far.

Nobody has mentioned the fact that hf interference from these devices has
caused some problems in Ireland apparently, interfereing with the hf comms
to aircraft.

Oh that's all right, they'll just blame terrorists.
