There will not be a large market until the majority of the population
can get the service. For a large part of the potential audience this
will not be for another two years. I doubt if any manufacturer is going
to rush to market.

Why is it assumed that Topfield will produce any good boxes in the
future? Their (good) reputation is/was based on their older Freeview
model and I believe that team responsible for the design and marketing
innovations have long since departed the company. Their latest UK
Freeview box was released with c**p firmware and there has been zero bug
fixes from Topfield in the last year.

More than 50% of the population will be covered by next June.
