When Winter Hill BBC-2 channel 62 analog and associated relays transmissions end next month, how will affected viewers continue to watch the show, other than pointing their antennas to Emley Moor and retuning to channel 51? The programme is, (regardless whether BBC 1 or 2 'North' have shown it) shown nationally on BBC 2 on all platforms very early (03:00-04:00 hrs ish) on Monday mornings. -- Mark Please replace invalid and invalid with gmx and net to reply. www.paras.org.uk |

Possibly - I can only receive the Manchester and Yorkshire regions off-air here. Which English regional centre is this programme played out from, and how is it distributed between them? Are there direct fibre feeds? |

I'm a bit confused by the use of 4:3 and a 14:9 masking box if so. |

Exactly, unless for some reason. What's the point when there are play out facilities everywhere and there are lines everywhere? Sometimes there are "political" reasons. |

Leeds is a 16:9 site, but how did you deduce the programme was produced in 4:3, and then cropped to 14:9 letterbox ? I've never seen the programme, is it 16F16 when seen on BBC 1 via digital platforms ? -- Mark Please replace invalid and invalid with gmx and net to reply. www.paras.org.uk |
