I guess I'll catch the missing episodes when the Beeb decides to
repeat it.
(probably on BBC4 or BBC3 or whatever).

Erm .... John [and others] - you have probably missed it.
This seven year-old, ground-breaking show is unlikely to be repeatd
anytime soon.

Thanks for the 'heads up'. I won't be holding my breath then. I'll just
accept that I've got myself a ten episode 'special' of season one and
try to do better when season two airs.

Hi my PVR missed the end of The Wire last night on BBC2 it stopped recording
when there was a shot of the orange sofa empty. What happened after that?

Thanks for the lack of spoiler warning - I haven't watched the last
couple of episodes yet.

Clem

Since i replied to craig, i'll also reply to clem.

The credits rolled

Sorry Clem.
I did not think that this piece of information required a spolier
warning.

If you have not seen the last couple of episodes then you may have
seen
the first couple of episodes.

so, You will already know that there is an orange sofa in the centre
of the quad.
so when craig says "the orange sofa is empty , what happens next ?" i
and others
helpfully replied, but did not supply any reason why the sofa was
empty.
When you do catch up, you will then find out why the sofa is empty.
enjoy

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
drugs began to take hold. I remember Johnny B Good
saying something like:

I guess I'll catch the missing episodes when the Beeb decides to
repeat it
