I did not recognise the 320 description at first. I changed the hard
drive in my foxsat to 1 tera byte a while back. Works like a dream.
It was easy to copy forward from the old drive to the new one all the
programmes that I still want to access from the Media button.

Interesting, what make do they fit as original and what make did you fit.

Original drive Seagate SATA 320GB Pipeline. Replaced with WD SATA 1 Terabyte
WD 10 EVCS. The drive is formatted by the box to Linux EXT/3 if you want to
know about these things.
There is a DIY guide here
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...d.php?t=940956
I used a USB 2.0 to SATA adaptor to transfer recordings I wanted to keep
longer term and access easily to the new drive.

Even though one cannot play encoded HD programmes from an external USB drive
they transfer back to the box OK.
Memory sticks and other usb devices can transfer Video, stills and music to
the foxtat box or they can be played direct from the USB socket.

The box will recognise FAT 32 files but not NTFS ones. I use the Linux EXT/3
format because it does not have the file size limitation of FAT 32
