The whole "left wing" and "right wing" thing, in the context of the mainstream media and so-called 'mainstream' public opinion, amounts to little more than two sides of the same coin. The 'coin' in this analogy is the so-called centre ground - aka 95% of all western policies - which are maintained and supported by all the major political parties, regardless of which one "wins" an election. These same policies are also maintained and supported by all mainstream news outlets - whether TV, newspapers, radio or online - CNN included. There is some "controlled criticism" of certain policies in the media, but this is only intended to pacify the public and maintain the illusion of democracy - in other words, it actually helps keep said policies intact. |

Another way of looking at that is to say that there is a general concensus supported by perhaps 95% of the population, but not you. I don't criticise you for that or say that you are wrong. Many of my opinions are shared by almost no-one else, and historically progress has often arisen when views once regarded as wildly radical have finally become popular. Bill |

This appears to still be a non-MPEG'd feed, and its audio really puts the Sky Digital version (128kbps MP2) to shame. Exactly why you'd want to fill your head with mind-numbing Judeo- American corporate propaganda is another story, though. I can't comment on the jewish connection (I don't know enough about it) but strange to think that when Ted Turner started CNN it was a real thorn in the side of the major networks, and was regarded as being virtually 'anti-capitalist'. Yeah and US right wing nutters still refer to it as Communist News Network, which is quite amusing considering the inconsequential ****e it now broadcasts. The Daily Show often highlights the rubbish they fill their schedules with such as their newsreaders discussing the menu at the school that Barack Obama's children go to! Fred X |

So have you - you just don't realise it - which is the whole point of brainwashing. My generation is actually more immune to all this stuff, I think largely because of the internet, which the establishment has no editorial control over (yet). |

The brainless masses are all like that - whatever their age - I was referring to the slightly more intelligent members of my generation. Can you give a specific example of some ******** we swallow, that you older people don't? |
