Grundig GDT1500 - Too Old To Work Nowadays?

I dusted off an old Grundig GDT1500 at the weekend to give to my
girlfriend's daughter

I had this set-up with an internal aerial a few years back and it performed
adequately. I have not used it for a couple of years but now it doesn't seem
to be able to auto-scan for channels anymore - it searches & searches
without finding anything.

Has anything happened that would stop this old piece of kit working? The
area is not known for crap TV reception

Advice or pointers welcome

Burst in to life right away - no problems there. I did a complete rescan
and it has found all 91 channels available from Blackhill, Central Scotland
- though on certain multiplexes it has difficulty numbering them correctly.
The box is on software version 3.4 - IIRC there may well have been a later
update. I have no idea if it solves the numbering issues.

That should be 3.6

The hard reboot is now my last chance - any ideas on how to do this?

Have you tried to delete all channels then unplug then do a rescan,
replacing existing channels if there is an option?
