A couple of years ago after I'd installed a region 2 and a quad LNB to a
couple of used SKY STBs, i took out a contract with Sky (god help me)

The installer was quite happy to connect the new STBs to my existing
dish,
saving him the job of nailing up a region 1, and laying cable, etc
He chucked in a reel of RG6 as thanks

Sky installers don't use RG6. Never have.
Bill

OK so it looked like RG6, and you have a degree in being pedantic.

It wouldn't look like RG6 because if it was a full roll the type would be
written on the drum.

This correspondence has nothing whatsoever to
do with the subject matter - and is using a lot more bandwidth than
the original lapse. Quite frankly, it is very boring.

Acutally, I think it's all quite amusing... :-))

Yes, most people would agree that my rispostes are witty and wise, and well
worth quoting over the water cooler.

Usually, Bill, I DO enjoy reading your posts, and as I'm not an aerial
pro, I especially like your Rigger's Diary and OT posts.
It just seemed that you had got out of bed the wrong side when you replied
to the original message way, way back at the top of this thread... :-)

It was my hayfever, combined with my skin condition. I was feeling really
really aggravated by it. If you think I was horrible on here you should have
heard what I said to the fool in the tyre depot. He wasn't exactly dancing
in his overalls when I left him.

No more hay fever.
