I couldn't care less if someone is making money or not. All I want to do
is listen to the radio.

I think you've misunderstood the map of the solar system in your
Atlas. The thing the world is revolving around is the Sun, rather than
yourself.

No one is stopping you listen to your radio. AFAIK your car radio is
working exactly as designed, and you don't even have to pay a licence
to switch it on!

Indeed. However as designed it can't pick up stations I want to listen to.
