At this point I'm going to persue Curmudgeon's posting, that it is indeed
possible to have two HD DVRS activated with DISH. Having an HD DVR at each
location solves my problem. A few months ago, I found a tool on DISH's site,
(can't find it now), that allowed you to configure your arrangement of TV's
and DVR's. No matter how I tried it, I couldn't get it to allow two HD
DVR's, and that is why I tentatively concluded, (erroneously apparently) that
DISH didn't allow two HD DVR.s
