then record only the shows you want to watch. Apart from real live
events e.g. concerts, footy etc we never watch TV on the fly. On the
flip side, watching recorded TV all the time makes watching the
occasional advert or shopping channel surprisingly interesting viewing.

I've got an upgraded version. It only records the programmes you don't
like, then plays them back when you're out.
