Hi,
Just having gotten my first LCD, a Sharp Aquos, I noticed that the quality of the picture, color saturation and brighness, seems to change, for the better, in the first 20 minutes after the set is turned on. Is that a common trait for LCD's? If so, is that because the backlight needs some time to get up to speed. Or does a initially cold LCD panel need to warm up for best picture? Just curious - the pix is great after the initial 'warmup' period. -=tom=- |
