Then you will carry on looking like a halfwit who believes all the

Whereas you will continue to look like a dinosaur who is unable to adapt
to changes in his linguistic or technological environment!

Does this mean that all other channels will drop their US
originated soaps? Please!!

I have never watched any US originated soaps.
I class them on a par with shopping channels.

As opposed to UK originated "reality shows" and "make over shows".

;-)

Enlighten me. What are "reality shows" and "make over shows" ;-)

Trust me, you really don't want to know. ;-)

If you re-scan your box you'll notice channel 305. This turned up
yesterday in line with the start of Big Brother, and will be showing 24
hour BB even when E4 isn't. This will continue until BB ends, which is
exactly when FilmFour starts on Freeview.

Probably, but all the 60p phone calls from the BB mugs will help fund
More4/Film4 :-)

Coffee cups making phone calls? That'll explain the phone bills then.

BB = Brooke Bond = TEA, not coffee.

Get it right!

When, what, and do you have a link?

I'm not sure about that idea?

It confuses what C4 does well, and is slightly incompatible with E4,

MORE4,
and FilmFour's existing reason d'étre.

Channel 4 are clearly preparing to use every letter of the alphabet so
prepare for A4 (a motoring channel?), B4 (already there), C4, D4 (Digital
4?), E4, F4 (Film Four), G4 (Economics Channel?), H4, i4 (Channel 4
interactive), J4, K4, L4, M4 (another motoring channel), N4, O4, P4, Q4, R4,
S4 (already there in Wales), T4 (already there in the mornings), U4 (Channel
4 Ulster?), V4 (Virtual Horse Racing?), W4 (local TV for West London?), X4
(Channel 4's Pay per View adult channel), Y4, Z4 (Wildlife channel about
Zebras in Zoos). Any more suggestions?

Or one about paper.

O4,

A channel about the wings, the wings of a dove.

BB is on for 13 weeks, which takes us to the middle of August.

According to all my Freeview boxen (signals from Crystal Palace) More4+1
is now defunct, and will be replaced by Film4 on 31 July. OK, fair
enough, but why kill the channel now, so early? It's handy (well it was)
if you missed an NYPD Blue episode on More4. My guess is that they need
the bandwidth for all of this Big Brother **** - I seem to have a
channel 305 in my line-up now.

Thanks, Channel 4, way to go. Not.

Clem

The really irritating part of this for me is that More4+1 was higher
resolution and on a less busy multiplex than More4 so it was my choice
for watching any More4 content. So channel4 dedicate the highest
technical quality to the lowest content quality.

Low quality for 13 weeks, or are you attempting to describe Film4 as
low quality - well I suppose if you hate films it is!...
