zenith c32v37 and radeon 9550

Hello I got a connect 3d radeon and a zenith c32v37 hopping to improve
my pc/tv experience. I choose a sony GDM-w900 as monitor setting and
ive tried dvi and component connections. dvi works good on 800x600, on
component i can go much higher with out overscan but it is hard to
read. I being trying to get it to work at 1024x768 or higher but no
luck in dvi. With component i can go at higher resolutions if i
increase the dpi setting. But the dpi setting in 2000/xp is not native.
I believe this feature will come in vista. has anyone had any luck if
high resolutions on this tv. any suggestions. monitor? resolution?
