Upconverting DVD players HDMI or DVI to component?
OK, tried one of the upconvertying dvd players with an hdmi out, but
even with some converters in line nothing was passed to my new projector or tv. The projector takes 15 pin rgb component in, the tv take the older rgb rca cable type. My question is since there is something (the encryption i've read about?) that wont see the hdmi after conversions, would I find the same on a dvd player with the older dvi output or would this type work? Barring that does anyone make an upconverting DVD player with a component out?
