Well the law of sod came into operation and I had tfor he first time that
LP had failed to work for many weeks, just an hour ago :-(

I was trying to pause something I was recording, but I was watching it in
real time rather than the recording.

Same s/w as you

My Pace v2 box just started doing it on Friday. Fixed it with a
card-out reboot but it's back again.

How can it be a software bug if this software has worked fine for
several months beforehand?

Spoke to Sky and they said I had to wait for the new bug-fix release
but I know that means months of waiting. I told him that Live Pause was
a key feature and that perhaps Sky should consider some form of
compensation for disadvantaged users. He said that they can't give any
compensation for a "free" service. But there's no such thing as a free
lunch surely?

It seems that this topic has died down on this News group. Am I the only one
tearing my hair out over this? It must be two months now?! What are other
peoples thoughts on this? Yes, I know for a quick fix, you can rest the box
every few day, but this really isn't on. Any decent company would simply
roll back the software to the previous version, until a fix is sorted. It's
disgusting. New subscribers with Pace boxes must be having the same
problems?

They're taking the **** when they send stuff in the post about recommending
a friend to Sky! 3 Months ago I would have. Now it will be a long time
before I gain trust in them again (if ever)

If anyone's reading this that work for Sky, you work for a **** company, and
they don't give a toss about their own customers.

Affected customers should form an action group. Maybe a bulk
cancellation of 100 or more subscriptions would accelerate the cure?
