I saw a Hitachi 36" HDTV (non-flat) at CC about 2 weeks ago. Did not look
good and showed problems synching to rapid motion or scene changes compared
to Sonys, etc side by side.

I looked at the Hitachi 32UDX10S well over a year ago at Circuit
City. I seriously considered buying it but found the number of
inputs listed in the specs were misleading - in reality one could
only use two of the rear inputs (Video 1 and Video 2). Around
Thanksgiving of last year i went to look at it again and nobody
had it. I was told it was discontinued and couldn't be ordered
from the 3 places that had it earlier in the year. I haven't seen
it anywhere since resuming my 32" TV search several months ago.

The Panny on the other hand has 2 rear component inputs
plus 3 rear composite inputs (two of which also have an S jack)
It also has a switchable fixed/variable audio output which
i needed for my Panasonic home theater reciever. Nice.

I'd like to hear of a 36" wide 36" HDTV. Speakers on bottom is fine as my
space is 36" wide. May have to settle for the 37" panny plasma which would
fit.

Does anyone know of a 32" 4:3 HD set that is less than 32" wide?

I know most here think 4:3 is the anti-christ of TVs so your point is

taken
before you chime in, thanks.

Thanks for constructive input,

Mike
