In article , ity says... But it is not really portable or anywhere near it. No one knows how far away from the box this thing will work, 30 metres. That is not far really. But you were talking about big gardens. It would have to be a very big garden for it to go out of the 30m range. if you got a large garden, then you could be stuck. Don't take any notice of figures, they are not always true. 2 + 2 = 4 :-) You know what I mean, there are loads of figures in specs and not many ring true. Printers have pages per minute, cars have miles per gallon, but they are not always true, in fact they are mostley not true. The miles per gallon is for new cars, but as the engine ages the miles per gallon is bound to get worse. My Dect phone specs say that I can use the phone 328 feet away from the base, I don't think it does. It's difficult to predict range with wireless because it's so dependent on interference. But you have to give an estimate of the range so that people can think about whether it is likely to work in their circumstances. -- Steve - www.digitalradiotech.co.uk - Digital Radio News & Info Find the cheapest Freeview, DAB & MP3 Player Prices: http://www.digitalradiotech.co.uk/fr..._receivers.htm http://www.digitalradiotech.co.uk/da...tal_radios.htm http://www.digitalradiotech.co.uk/mp...rs_1GB-5GB.htm http://www.digitalradiotech.co.uk/mp...e_capacity.htm |
