Printers have pages per minute, cars have miles per gallon, but they are
not always true, in fact they are mostley not true. My Dect phone specs
say that I can use the phone 328 feet away from the base, I don't think
it does.

it works a fair distance but no way is it that far.

garden for it to go out of the 30m range.

per gallon is bound to get worse.

It's difficult to predict range with wireless because it's so dependent
on interference. But you have to give an estimate of the range so that
people can think about whether it is likely to work in their
circumstances.

or tress in between.

yep, so as the Gnome gets older the distance it works at will get

Not necessarily. My long term average is actually increasing slightly.
