Problem with Thomson DHD4000

Being away for a few days I set my freeview box to record some items, when I
returned I found that the box was unresponsive & that I had 4 messages.

I unplugged the box and replugged it back in and it worked fine.

The 4 messages all state that the recording of 'Bargain Hunt' from the
09/08/05 was corrupt and may need to be deleted. I think I may have
recorded some of 'Bargain Hunt' as a test recording however this was not
what I had programmed in to record.

I programmed in 4 programs from Men & motors (all martial arts/combat
programs) for the night of Monday the 15th and none of these recorded, I
also programmed in the third ep of lost from E4 for Sunday the 14th, this
did record.

Any suggestions on what went wrong? It seems clear that the box has become
confused and that the 4 messages are referring to the 4 failed recordings
from M&M.

The box was left in standby all the time I was away.
