Default Xtraview + Tesco GDB3 clone - odd message

I have one of these Tesco DigiLogic STBs, which is basically a Goodmans GDB3
in the GDB2 box...

For whatever reason, the box won't handle Xtraview (which I'm not too
bothered about)- the MHEG screen says :

Unfortunately your equipment is unable to view this service.

Here's the odd bit. Pressing Yellow 3 times produces a new screen saying :

V1.92

STATUS:FOUND DISABLED:CBTICE000

Does anyone know what the heck that is?

Just curious.

Adrian

Dunno about that but the goodman's boxes I played around with had
ability in setup to ignore encrypted channels. That was with 4.1/4.2
firmware. Since they can't do anything with these channels it seems a
good idea.

Xtraview isn't encrypted; the unencrypted video and audio streams are
just hidden with non-default IDs and selected via an MHEG interface. So
the "Hide encrypted channels" option wouldn't hide it.

The above opinions are mine, and Edinburgh University can't have them

Ok I see, their scheme sounds a somewhat pathetic. Maybe because its
non-standard it confuses some boxes.
