philips 32DW6834/25 cordless speakers

Hi cordless speakers have stopped working.I have checked channel selecter on
tv and speakers.I rang a philips service agent they said i needed a new rf
module at a cost of £250+labour+vat.Has anyone had this problem and know how
to fix it many thanks

Phil: Go to an electrical/audio/tv retailer, and buy another set of
independantly powered FM cordless speakers for about 30ukp (each?)
and including the transmitter unit.

Plug the audio out from phono/scart levels on the TV into the transmitter
or use the 'loudspeaker' connnector IF SUITABLY attenuated... best choice
depending on what is available on that model of TV.

(And to avoid strange noises, keep mobile phones away from them - especially
when a call or message is about to be incoming.
