A couple more Humax questions

Ok , I've been having a play with my 8000 and love it already.

First off , is it possible to re-order the channels or not?
I had a quick look and didn't see any way to do this.

Second , whats the deal with upgrading the hard drive?
Is it just a standard IDE drive the drops in or do you need to do more?
Whats the largest size it will take?

And finally , when's the 9000 with twin tuners due out?
I'll probably upgrade to that , as I expect to be able to move the larger HD
from the 8 to the 9.

You cannot, as far as I know, re-order channels, however you could set
up favourites and use those instead. The channels would still have
the same number, but they would be in a different order.

I have not really played with this feature. I know if you switch to a
channel not in your favourites that it will come out of favourites,
and return to the normal order, but I think in theory that if you go
into favourites and do not come out of them that it will remain in
them indefinitely.

I have just deleted the shopping channels, the teletexts, and some of
the others that I do not wish to have then the order works fine for
me.

Well, I have re-ordered channels in my Favourites list. Not sure if you
can re-order the original TV list. I'll have to check.
