As I said, you didn't read what was written. You are indeed responsible for your own incompetence. And you're lecturing me about being rude? It seems that once again you want to have it both ways - freedom to be insulting as well as freedom not to address the point. |

It seems that once again you want to have it both ways - freedom to be insulting as well as freedom not to address the point. My comment was perfectly clear. If you can't read what was written then that is your problem. Being unable to read what is written can only be described as incompetence (def: the inability to do something properly). Incompetence is not an insult: it is a state of being. -- Digibox problem? : A reboot solves 90% of these. I've returned some of the context to this thread.

If so it is an out-and-out lie. Updates are exclusively performed on air. ===end previously snipped Got it on screen in front of me right now. "Sky regularly upgrades the software in your sky+ box via your phone line, allowing us to continuously improve your sky+ experience." Fine. It is indeed an out and out lie. There is not one jot of truth in it. Not one. Glad to hear it, I didn't believe that Sky would use wording like that on their customer channel, so your confirmation that this is indeed a lie is most welcome. Re-read my post. You have missed the point yet again. My comment clearly referred to the message on the screen. It also implied, due to the quote from, IIRC, 'No-one' that this was on channel 999. If you would like people not to miss the point, then please cite sources. Luke -- The above email address will work until spammed. |
