Don't see what BT have to do with it. Sky lease the transponder directly off
SES Astra.

Would imagine the BT reference had more to do with the fact that you have to
be connected via the phone line for the entire time you're playing along
with the game.

Not just wasting bandwidth. The channel is not FTA, its not even FTV so its
wasting our money too. Not to mention thats its a poor rip off of Avago.
This is a Sky channel, can't they afford a real studio?

But I still don't see what that has to do with BT. BT get hardly any money off
premium lines. Last I heard the vast majority of the charge went to the
company that had set the line up.

In any case I don't see that BT's prices are a rip-off. They've pretty well
always been cheaper than the US (which is of course unusual) and right now BT
charges are ludicrously cheap.

Not that I'm a BT shareholder but they do a damn good job for very little cost
and I think they are due praise for their efforts.
