Whether you accept it or not I suspect that it is all you are going to
get.

Broadcasters (with the possible exception of the BBC) have no
intention of removing the red dot and the government (aka Ofcom) have
no desire to upset them by obliging them to do so.

Which is, unfortunately, the whole problem.

At it stands, the only viewers whose interests are being represented are
the "ooh, ooh, it's a naughty word - I'm gonna tell on you" brigade.

I'm all for regulators having a light touch, but this is getting bloody
daft...

Sky dictate all the Sky digibox functionality. The lack of an
off-switch is entirely down to Sky.


I've long-since killfiled Jomty though because he talks even more crap than
half_pint.


The time to kill-file someone is when you know everything that they
do, not before. Sadly you are far from being in this happy position.
