Default Sky Sub

I am a University student currently living away from home. When I go
home at Easter I was wanting to get my Sky Subscrption turned on. I
have all the equipment and viewing card already so I think it should
be fairly easy. Will Sky mind me ringing up and ordering for 1 month
only?

In theory this will work. You will have to be sure to get the
cancellation in at the right time.

Yes. Unless they`ve changed the rules since I last did this.

Actually it probably won't work at *ALL*!!

Until a few months ago Sky used to let lapsed subscribers resubscribe
tlemselves on their former contract - ie. where Sky had not phoned and
invited them to come back. A few people then posted that Sky had started
to insist on starting a NEW minimum 12-month contract in such cases.

That might be for people without a series 2 card. I know someone who
resubscribed recently for 2 months over Xmas without difficulty.
