Sky + as satelite broadband

I do exactly this using Silvermead (www.silvermead.net). It doesn't require
a new dish, moving your dish, or anything else. If you get the Sky+ engineer
to run an extra cable length for the satellite modem when he's installing
Sky+ then you won't even need one of Silvermead's engineers to come out to
you - you can just order the satellite modem and install it yourself.

Are you happy with silvermead. I am very tempted on a system but are a
little concerned about the download limits. I will be using the system to
download video files and large programs to work from home. I am worried
about the fair usage policies as I am unsure if a 5gig limit is enough for
me.

The Sat Broadband (download only) that was supposed to start up this
Month
(Jan) used the same satelitte Astra 2 (28.2) as SKY, so no dish movement
would be necessary. I've lost the link, but will post here when I find
it
(Think I have it at work)

And Newwave Communications at
(http://www.newwavecommunications.co.uk/satellite) They seem to imply
that
you can use your existing dish with a quad LNB, but don't specify what
bird
you need to pointed at.

There is also Tiscali (www.tiscali.co.uk), but I couldn't find any
information on their web page for Sat service. I have sent an inquiry,
and
will post the info here when I get it.
