But what about prices? Would the average person be willing to spend an extra
20 bucks for an HD movie on an eight gig card?

The moment Micro SD cards were released, I predicted this would happen. It's only common sense. People want smaller more efficient, so it stands to reason.

For tiny devices, sure, but who wants to watch HD on a phone or tablet?
(well, hi rez iPad is sorta o.k.) Not to mention UHD.
