Default need tone generators with triple lnb and 5x8 multiswitch?

Folks,

I just moved to a new house and went from a dual lnb oval DTV dish to
a triple lnb dish oval DTV dish. My channel vision HDTV 5x8
multiswitch (sat-HD58) worked great with my old setup. I am now
having some problems with the new setup. I believe the satellite
installer just ran the 4 lines directly from the dish (I dont think
he took out the built in multiswitch) randomly to one of the 4 inputs
on the multiswitch. I cant seem to see the nasa channel any more
Which I believe is on the 119 satellite. In fact, I dont see anything
on the 119 satellite (like paratodos) And my singal is bouncing
in and out randomly. Some times it can go days with perfect singnal
then it will start bouncing in and out randomly. It goes away as fast
as it comes (mind you the weather can be bad or perfect, it doesnt
matter, still does it).

Does it matter which cable from the dish goes into what port on the
multiswitch? Do I need to buy tone generators to deal with a triple
lnb dish? Help Any ideas whats wrong? Do I have multiple problems?

Thanks,
Mike

With a non-cascadable multiswitch like yours, you need to install a 22KHz
tone generator on each of the lines to the 2 Sat B inputs in order to get
Sat B(119) and Sat C(110). Order between the dish and the multiswitch
doesn't matter. The bouncing sounds like a different problem.

How many receiver do you has. If more then 4 receivers, there you need
a special multi switch.
