Default Circuit City 3 room + TiVo install

I'm getting the 3 room + 1 TiVo upgrade offer from Circuit City.
Getting it for my girlfriend and her son for her house. I've had DTV &
TiVo for some time.

rant I don't like having to go through the call center in India to
arrange installation. Seems like every person I speak to there cannot
understand southern accents and also love to follow their scripts
/rant

Bought the stuff on-line then picked-up the hardware at the store.
While there I got the manager to give me a local contact for their
installer (turns out CC doesn't use their own employees for their
installers).

I talked to the installer and discussed the preliminaries. Right off
the bat he told me that the second line for the TiVo would cost extra.
I explained that DTV and the CC web order droid both told me that the
second line for the TiVo was included. About an hour later he called
back and told me that I was right.

I'm also guessing that the basic install also includes getting the
phone line for each unit (3 phone lines).

The explanation of "basic service" on DTV's site says 125 feet of
cable and 25 feet of telephone line and drilling through one wall. I'm
wondering if these limits are "per box" or if this is the total for
all three boxes. The DTV rep couldn't tell me.

I've also ordered the Terk BMS58 switch from Buy.com ($72) compared to
$149 from Circuit City). It might be here in time when the installers
get there, but if not I'm going to get them to wire it so it can just
get plugged in. He also said that there'll have to be power available
(or ran) for that multiswitch (I believe this switch is powered by the
cable line).

I've read that installs by DirectTV even pay for the multiswitch +
install if it is needed.

I don't mind paying for a good install, but I also don't like paying
for things that should be covered by the basic install fee I've
already paid.

What other little oddball things should we go over with the installer
before we give the go ahead (and what things are usually covered with
these deals and basic installations)?

If you bought a 3 room system, then it should either come with the
multi-switch (if an round dish) or has the switch built in on the oval dish.
Otherwise, it wouldn't really be a 3 room kit.

The BestBuy.com Satellite installation page says two runs of 125 feet each
and telephone runs of 15 feet each.

When they came out, they ran the cable where we wanted it, and offered to
run the cable for a third receiver that we had brough along form a previous
residence. I think the installer has a lot of latitude.
