Can you record multiple programs to a VCR at one time?
If you have three half-hour programs you want to put on tape do you have to do them one at a time or is there a way to do it all at once? What if you want to record just the last ten minutes of a progam, can you do that as well? Thanks, CC |

Do you mean you want the TiVo to output to 3 different VCRs all at once, or that you want to set up a "batch" export? Either way, the answer is the same. What if you want to record just the last ten minutes of a progam, can you do that as well? Sure. Just don't hit "record" on the VCR until the part you want is showing on the TiVo... Yeah this is one of the most annoying things the Tivo can't do (not the 10 minutes thing). The thing where it wont spit out a bunch of programs in a row. But hey you can't win em all |

You mean you've never tried it? 1) Start playing a program, fast-forward to correct spot. 2) Hit left-arrow to go back to the Now Playing detail screen. 3) Notice that one of the options is "Resume playing". 4) Select "Save to VCR". 5) Notice that the second option is "Save from the paused location". -Joe |

TIVO is so easy to use, that I just haven't got around to it yet. Is it a straight forward setup? Do you only need one cable? I have DirectTV with 2 tuners. Thanks to all for the responses. CC |
