Default Can recorded programs be hidnden on the Now Playing list?

Hello,

I've got an RCA DirectTV/Tivo unit and I need to know if it's possible to
hide recorded items on the Now Playing list. Say if I record an "Adult
Movie" and I don't want to kids to be able to find it, is there a way that I
can hide it so that it doesn't appear on the list?

Thanks,

Jeff

You can prevent playback by activating Parental Controls.

That dosent really help when you see:

Art House Porno: More than a Mouthful

and have to explain what it is and why it wont play

I don't believe there is a way to hide recordings.

However, if you 'hack' the unit and install TivoWeb (or TivoWebPlus,
recommended, especailly for DirecTiVos), you can change the name,
description, etc.

Maybe "Charlie Rose interviews Alan Greenspan" or something equally likely
to repluse children :-P (depending on the age, I'm sure you could think of
something appropriate...). Be sure to leave the rating intact*, though,
just in case

* - Just a spot of humor... TivoWebPlus doesn't expose the rating as an
editable field, so you can't
