Default Pioneer DVR-810H - convert VHS tapes to DVD?

I'm considering a Pioneer DVR-810H as a set top box and DVD recorder.
I would like to know if it is possible to use this box to convert my VHS
tapes to DVD
and get rid of my VHS player. I don't see where there are RCA connectors on
the rear
of the 810H, so I'm not sure I can do this.

Does anyone know if I can convert my tapes to DVD's -- and if not with this
box,
is there another? I like the Tivo feature, so I'm pretty sold on this box
but would
really like to toss my VHS player.

I'm a newbie, if this is the wrong group, please point me in the right
direction.

thanks,
Gary

They're there according to the specs at www.pioneerburner.com:
Excerpt:
Inputs
Composite (Video): 2
S-Video: 1
Composite (Audio): 2

Composite inputs are another name for RCA-type inputs.

Another excerpt, also from the above URL [emphasis added]:
"80GB Hard Drive: With the built-in 80GB hard drive you can record
up to 80 hours of material—off the air, cable, or satellite, *or your home
movies*—for short-term storage and viewing. You can actually control
live TV: pause it, reverse it, play it in slow motion. You can even watch a
recorded program from the beginning, while the recorder simultaneously
finishes the recording. With the DVR-810H, there’s just no going back
to the old way of watching TV.

DVD Recording: And those shows *and other content* you want to keep
for a longer period of time? Burn them onto a DVD-R (permanent; can’t
be erased) or DVD–RW (can be erased/written over many times)."

Keep in mind that when recording to DVD from the hard drive that
you have to dump the entire recording from the hard drive to DVD.
I don't know if you can record directly to the DVD burner with
this unit from the RCA inputs. Someone who actually owns this
unit will be able to tell you, or you can call Pioneer...

Yes, it even has a 'record from camera/vcr' feature. And it does have
RCA inputs, S-Video too.

I'd recommend a standalone DVD recorder with hard drive. The DVR-810H
has very limited editing capabilities. For the price, you can buy a
Panasonic DVD record with hard drive and a stand alone TIVO. Yes its
two boxes - but for the little extra $ and space you will gain
tremendous editing / outputting possibilities which you wouldn't get
with the DVR-810H.

I used the Panasonic DMR-80E and it worked great converting old VHS
tapes, it also has a type of filter/coding to actually 'improve' the
look of the old tapes. Loved this machine. Once I was done
converting I sold it on ebay and overall only cost me about $100 (plus
DVD-R discs) to convert all my tapes.
