Default looking to buy tivo series 1 and turbonet card

Hi can anyone recommend where to buy a tivo series 1 standalone unit? I
need it to record 1 single channel so i dont need the whole guide,
therefore i will not be subscribing. I need it to be able to record
manually, and have the pause, rewind live tv features. Also I will be
installing a turbonet card for video extraction. Thanks a lot.

www.servicedvr.com for the standalone; www.9thtee.com for the
TurboNet card.

thanks Bao. As far as video extraction is Turbonet still "the way to go"?
my main concerns a ease of installation/use, quality and speed of
extraction. Thanks.

Ask the TiVo video extraction experts in the appropriate forum
meant just for that topic at http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/.

Refurbished Series 1 standalone TiVos are available at
http://www.servicedvr.com/Extra/BuyExtraTivo.asp. $129.95+$15 s/h for a
30-hour HDR312 (smallest model available as of last night).

I've purchased from this company before (20-hour Philips HDR212 several
months ago), and they treated me well. As a matter of fact, I purchased
another unit from them last night as a Christmas gift (HDR312).

Wish they still had the HDR112 or HDR212 units in stock. I've got a
surplus of 30GB+ hard drives at the moment.

I was particularly impressed with the accessories. The manual was
obviously used (slightly scuffed), but everything else was in exceptional
condition.

www.poweron.com has HDR212 units sans hard drive for $90. I almost bought
one of those instead, but since this was to be a gift and I was concerned
about the condition of the packaging and accessories, I decided to go with
servicedvr, the known quantity.

Anyone have any experience with poweron.com? Their eBay feedback seems to
be acceptable.

As for the TurboNET card (highly recommended), the only place to get them
(aside from eBay and the like) is http://www.9thtee.com/tivoupgrades.htm.
$69.25 + shipping.

TiVo Series 2 60hr (upgraded to 310 hrs, 9 min)
Philips Series 1 HDR212 (upgraded to 67 hrs + TurboNet)
I watch too much TV, but no one cares except my wife.
