Is there a way to sort the "Now Playing List" for a directivo ??

Would like to sort the now playing list so the programs are listed by
the date recorded. Appreciate any input.

By default, your programs already are listed by record date.
(reverse-chronologically) If you're referring to the opposite
(chronological order), this is not an option.

If, however, you'd like to sort alphabetically, this is possible with
any TiVo box that's running current software. Standalone Series 2
units offer the feature automatically, but standalone Series 1 TiVos
and DirecTV DVRs presently require a special code to enable it.

At the "Now Playing" screen, enter the following button sequence:

* Slow
* 0 (zero)
* Record
* Thumbs up

(mnemonically spelling "S-0-R-T")

This also allows the recordings to be sorted by expiration date, which
evidently isn't natively possible with a standalone Series 2 TiVo.

Please note that the above process must repeated after each reboot.
