Default anyone use CorelDraw?

I simply mirrored eight objects as a group. Well I tried. They
disappeared. Edit undo didn't bring them back. I found them listed in
Object properties. They had a specific fill, a specific outline, etc,
but their dimensions were zero by zero. I tried to give them real
dimensions. It didn't work. In the end I had to use the back-up file to
retrieve them. I mirrored them and again their dimensions became zero.
Mirroring any other object worked fine. I ungrouped them and they
mirrored OK, one by one.

Anyone else seen such a thing?

Bill

Not for several decades, used to love it back in the days of Windows/386.

I remember using it to augment a Trutype font with some bespoke
characters.

Which version.

I think I have it on an old PC. Indeed I have some OEM disks that I used to install it on the PC when I built it.

Both it and related Word Perfect did have quite a few bugs.

Cant answer your why! but heres how:
Select the group, Press control. Drag say the right bounding mark over
and beyond the left bounding mark. (+Control controls the extent,
otherwise the mirror image is fully resizeable). You can also do it
other ways, using buttons etc but that is all configurable and may not
be available on your window so above is the basic! C+

I know some users are unaware of any other method mirroring than
dragging a bounding mark.

I didn't realise about using Control.

And of course there's the 'quick flip' button on the toolbar. These
methods work. So why doesn't the 'proper' method, which allows all sorts
of variations?

On the other hand, life's too short to peel olives.
