It's perhaps a wider comment about the state of the world that the
person with a camera chose to video rather than actually to offer help! Most people seem to be that way. I watched, well listened to a program in
which an accident had occurred, the biggest problem the emergency services had was all the young kids videoing the casualty and getting in the way. Is it really now the case that the next generation treat real life as if it was s TV program or a game? Brian "Java Jive" wrote in message ... When I first read this subject line I heard it to the tune of that song, how
to handle a woman, which many consider non pc these days. Brian wrote in message ... http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=594_1453339209 -- ----- - This newsgroup posting comes to you directly from... The Sofa of Brian Gaff... Blind user, so no pictures please! |

They grow up seeing people violently killed several times a day on TV and think nothing of it. |

FYI the gentleman was rolling a dish down the road on its edge. It was twice his height and conspired with gravity to take over the situation. Just like the case of man v. woman when you start off *thinking* you are in control until reality takes over. |

I suppose the best of both worlds is to set up the camera on the car dashboard and then go offer to help - and maybe the schadenfreude part of one's personality hopes that something "bad" happens just before you get there :-) |

My favourite non PC song is Wives and Lovers by Bacharach: Hey, little girl, Comb your hair, fix your make-up. Soon he will open the door. Don't think because There's a ring on your finger, You needn't try any more. It carries on in that vein: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/b/b...nd_lovers.html -- Max Demian |
