OK while we are on this tack, does anyone produce a tuner for connecting to
analogue input hi fis, that.
Has dab that will work off an external aerial, if it has fm then fine, but
it would also be nice if it could do internet stuff too. The one proviso is
that it should not have a complicated lcd screen, no touch sensitive
controls and have buttons which one can feel one has depressed.
I doubt this exists, at least I cannot find one.

I have a Sansui 201 which seems to do what you want and may be worth a look if it is still current.

Brian, you did not search too hard - not even a Google just straight to RS and top of the list: -

http://www.richersounds.com/product/...20/tibo-dab420

Tesco and amazon sell it too.

In this context, a better phrase would have been, "may be worth a
*feel* if it is still current. :-)

You seem to have overlooked Brian's difficulties regarding the pretty,
if informative, pictures that reveal at a glance whether or not the
product will be suited to his requirements.

For someone whose sight has deteriorated to the point where he now has
to rely upon screen reader software, I can't imagine how it would deal
with the iconised ticks and crosses against the specifications check list
so vital to rendering some understanding of the product's features.

However, despite the harshness of your reply, that radio would appear to
satisfy most, if not all, of Brian's requirements.

Have not heard of Sansui for years, so I'll definitely have a look. Loved
their later cassette decks.

I'm not that pedantic. Tactile imaging consultant?

If its the one I was thinking of it does have issues where sight is required
to tell what you have actually done and menus.
The part number rsounds the same.

Well it has tactile buttons, analogue out, FM, aerial socket and your favourite stations can be put on one of the four preset buttons.

Sorry if my reply sounded harsh.
