We recorded the prog on our Humax and on playing it back tonight. At every
commercial break the screen has cut abruptly to black with a nasty crackle through the speakers. Never had this before. Anyone else had this when playing back the recording? Anyone watch it live? Just wondering if our newish AV amp is in any way to blame. Tim |

You got in before me there!
On one of her songs she goes on about carpet burns, so the crackling could be her sliding about on the carpet generating static. You obviously need an exorcist! Ho Ho, but in fact she really could sing... Then why didn't she if she could? Whenever I've heard her, she sings every note except the right one - the best that can be said is that if the notes in the song increase in pitch, so does her singing, but not necessarily by the same interval :-) But there seems to be a style of singing where the singer improvises on the tune and sings any old note that is vaguely correct, instead of being faithful to the melody that other singers have already sung and that you are used to. |
