Where else could you by a Mini Purifier Euro SuperClamp for a measly £75.50?

Blimey, the only other form of business which sells stuff at such high
markups is the sex toy industry. I only know this from eavesdropping of
course...

Not looked of late, but one thing definitely needed is decent hammer in
cable holders as most of the ones you get break when you bang them in.
I'm sure his lateral thinking could come up with a solution.

Obviously no-one was daft enough to take them at full price and he'd
got surplus stock to shift. I wonder what they cost to make in China.
No more than a couple of quid or so, I shouldn't wonder. Russ is
obviously into high-profit low-volume marketing.

Or an anti-vibration mount for a power socket?

I expect he supplies to the NHS

and EA pumping stations, in particular the one at the Foss barrier in
York

The US Military have a reputation for paying such prices, such
as $600 for a toilet seat.

No one in their right mind would believe Russ's claims or pay his
prices. For every 999 people who scoff there is going to be 1 person
whose judgement has degenerated so significantly that they are no longer
truly in their right mind and it's that person who might make a
purchase.

Speaking purely Hypothetically what would happen if such a supplier
who puts what appears to be unrealistly large values on items compared
to similar things that perform the same function were to lose them all
in a warehouse fire.
Would the insurance company just pay out based on the value the retail
prices suggest they could be worth at the prices advertised or say
the corperate version of " yer avin a laugh mate" we value it xxxxx
pounds. take it or leave it.

G.Harman

Presumably the insurance premiums would be based on the retail value of
the items. Another relevant value is how much the items in the warehouse
cost to buy.

I think that what matters in insurance is the market value of the goods.
If customers are prepared to pay £100 for an item that is functionally
no better that a 50p equivalent, then £100 is the market value.

I suppose eavesdropping is the blind equivalent of being a peeping
