Anyone know how to upgrade the OS? I have VOIP and need to use cable modem,
but need to upgrade os in order to set network up. How do I upgrade the OS

Go to a friend's house and plug it in to the telephone line?

I use Vonage VOIP and have no problems with my TIVO dialing in and
retrieving it's data as if it's a regular old modem. (Even though they say
its not possible) Granted, its not as reliable as a POTS line, but it does
get its data 8 out of 10 times. My other TIVO uses a 802.11b card and
AIRNET, which works great everytime. Both TIVOs are SA on 3.XX software.
(312 w/Airnet and Tivoweb, and 212 upgraded to 160 hours.)

Good luck with it!
