There was a comparison on watchdog house on Friday. They did a test with 3 people and 2 tvs and 6/10 chose the tv pic with the cheaper lead, £4 against £80

How do you get 6/10 with 3 people?

Of course, they were just as wrong as the ones who chose the other lead.

Slightly tangentially, has anyone seen the new advert for
some male lotion or other? The voiceover says most men
prefer this product but the text on screen says 73% of 50
men. Eh?

I paid £1.50 for my last ones (1.8m, HDMI 1.4, delivered).
The one before that was £1.02 (1.8m, HDMI 1.3, delivered).

which in a way makes no sense as assuming the leads work there would
have been no difference at all - unless there's a little pc in the lead
reprogramming the data.

Out of three attached to my TV, only one worked reliably with audio
return channel. The one that worked was the cheapest, an Amazon
Basics one.

Some very cheap ones are of poor mechanical construction:

I assume you're implying that HDMI is the "wrong" way to connect two DTV
products together

Is so, OOI what's the correct way?
